Brentwood Tennessee, often considered a suburb of Nashville, is a city on its own. With 42,407 residents, Brentwood offers a semi-rural feel 15 minutes south of downtown Nashville with easy interstate access. 

The city of Brentwood falls under the Williamson County School district, which according to, boasts an impressive 16:1 student-teacher ratio. The 40,000 students served by Williamson County Schools can participate in both A.P. and gifted and talented programs. 

 90% of Brentwood zoning is for single-family lots keeping the population density low. With a median home price of $874,900, Brentwood offers many gated communities, established neighborhoods, and a high standard of living. Beautiful rolling hills, mature trees, Georgian revival, farmhouse revival, and ranch-style homes scatter the Brentwood landscape.

Brentwood is home to the Brentwood Skate Center, a roller rink that hosts local family nights, teen nights, and 18+ nights. Brentwood residents can also enjoy some active family time at DEFY Nashville, a 30,000 square foot facility complete with 15,000 feet of trampoline space,  slacklines, a trampoline dodgeball arena, dunk hoops, and an aerial ninja obstacle course. Brentwood also offers residents the Williamson County Indoor Sports Complex. Inside the indoor sports complex is a 50+ meter indoor competition training swimming pool, a gymnasium, group fitness, pickleball courts, a splash park, and more. 

Brentwood has a plethora of outdoor activities. Located at the border of Williamson and Davidson counties, Radnor Lake State Park has 1,368 acres of nature preserve. Visitors can walk the 5 miles of unpaved wooded trails surrounding the lake and observe various local wildlife.  Brentwood is also home to Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary, a 300-acre nature sanctuary that is home to more than 2,000 species of local flora and fauna. Owl’s Hill protects and restores local wildlife and plants and educates the community through year-round public programming and school programming.

Brentwood is home to 14 public parks, one of which is Crocket Park. Crocket Park is a large facility that offers playgrounds, sports fields, disk golf, baseball fields, tennis courts, running trails, and The Eddy Arnold Amphitheater, which hosts the summer concert series and the 4th of July fireworks. 

Those who like to stay active will enjoy life in Brentwood. Brentwood is home to a plethora of fitness activities. Residents who enjoy yoga can practice at Core Power Yoga or The Hot Room Yoga, to name a few. Yogis who are animal lovers enjoy Goat Yoga Nashville, where yogis enjoy their asana alongside goats. Cross Fit enthusiasts can stay fit at Iron Tribe Fitness or Cross Fit Trivium. Those who love HITT workouts may enjoy Orange Theory Fitness or F45 Training. For spin class lovers, Brentwood has Cycle Bar. For those who love to stay fit with Pilates, Brentwood has Neighborhood Barre, Barre 3, and Club Pilates, to name a few. 

Middle Tennessee is home to uniquely exceptional YMCA gyms. Breakfast diners can enjoy southern-style biscuits and breakfast at Maple St. Biscuit Company, while Crepe Lovers can dine on omelets and crepes at The Perch. For a well-rounded breakfast experience, First Watch offers an extensive breakfast menu and fresh-squeezed juices. Pizza lovers can eat at Blaze, Basil Garden, or Brixx. Uncle Julio’s offers exquisite Mexican dining and a beautiful outdoor patio. For Mediterranean food, Brentwood offers Kebabs and Tazikis. For American fare and a classy setting, DelFrisco's Brentwood has a lovely terrace, and Mere Bulles historic restaurant provides a more traditional southern experience. 

In addition to a large variety of dining and fitness options, Brentwood has a great deal of retail space. Blush Boutique, and Fab'rik offer a boutique fashion experience to women. Brentwood is also home to; Nordstrom Rack, Target, and TJ Max for convenient shopping. Just outside of Brentwood in Cool Springs is the Cool Springs Mall
