When you have a house to sell and you want to buy a new house using those funds, how does the timing work? This is what I troubleshoot all the time! The process and strategy can vary on a case by case basis, but the goal is to close on both properties the same day at the same closing table. Sign one set of documents to sell, followed by a second set of documents to buy. Money is transferred seamlessly through the title company. Here is a recent example where I helped do just that:
